The Gala Committee - Gala 2010 – A Night of Stars -

This year’s Gala will feature a Rock Band competition. By now many of you will have heard from your children about the video of the teachers rehearsing that was shown at the movie night last week. It was a big hit. The teachers have certainly set the bar high for the rest of us. Not only was the performance amazing but they also dressed up in costumes. Those of you that are putting groups together for the Gala may want to consider costumes as well. The teachers said that they played much better after they put their costumes on. We want to send out a great big thanks to the teachers that participated – Ms. Ursula, Ms. Kim, Ms. Tina,
Ms. Kate and Ms. Nicole. Rumor has it that there is another teacher’s band in the works. We can’t wait!
We are actively looking for sponsors for the Gala. If you or your company is interested in being one of our sponsors please send us an e-mail or talk to Ms. Nicole. There is a list of all the available sponsorships attached to this e-mail, please take a look. We are hoping that a few families will step up and sponsor the class projects. Sponsoring a class project is only $150 and could be easily split between two families.
We have begun to look for silent auction items so if you know of a company that might be willing to donate something please e-mail us with the info or let Ms. Nicole know.
We are still looking for someone that would be willing to donate one week in their vacation home. Please let us know as soon as possible if you know anyone. Last years vacation home sold for almost $2000 so this is a very important part of our fund raising.
